Appointment will be subjected to a positive security and medical assessment being obtained. Applications should indicate in the application whether they agree to being subjected to a security vetting and medical assessment process. The Appointment of candidates is at sole discretion of the National Nuclear Regulator in accordance with its Employment Equity, the National Nuclear Regulator takes cognizance of affirmative action in its selection and appointment processes. As part of the recruitment process on this platform, you will furnish the National Nuclear Regulator (NNR) with Personal Information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013, as amended from time to time, including any Regulations issued in terms of that Act (‘POPIA’).

By submitting any Personal Information to the NNR in any form, you hereby acknowledge that such conduct constitutes a reasonable, unconditional, specific, and voluntary consent to the processing of such Personal Information by the NNR. Furthermore, you authorise the NNR to collect, use, review, process and store any relevant Personal Information provided via this platform as well as any information that you may have provided in support thereof in accordance with the provisions of POPIA.

You consent to the NNR sharing your Personal Information with third parties for the purpose of assisting the NNR with screening, vetting, interviewing and any other lawful purpose.

You consent to the NNR retaining your personal information in their database for future matching and employment opportunities.

Please be aware that should you wish to object to the processing of your personal information, the NNR may not be able to continue with your application. Furthermore, if you do not wish the NNR to retain your details at any stage, you may email the NNR directly so that they can delete your details from their database, and you may also delete your profile from the NNR website.
